| Arizona Rush Mission Statement |
Arizona Rush Soccer Club is committed to providing an unparalleled soccer experience for all who have interest in the game of soccer. The Rush promotes the spirit of sportsmanship, the electricity of competition and the importance of pure enjoyment. We accept the responsibility of teaching life lessons to our athletes to further their development inside the game and out. We are committed to making soccer a pleasant, safe and rewarding experience for everyone involved, regardless of age or ability. We believe that all players are winners because everyone is afforded an equal opportunity to explore their potential and pursue positive outcomes on and off the field. Through quality coaching, sound leadership and absolute sincerity, We will work to be the best club in the state, nation, and world.
The competitive branch is divided into three divisions, Youth, Juniors, and Seniors. The Youth Division is for players from U11-U12. The Juniors Division is for players from U13-U15. The Seniors Division is for players from U16-U19. There is a Nike team (first team) and a Swoosh team (second team) in each age group. This level is referred to as academy. All other teams formed are called Advanced teams. Whichever the case, players have made a decision to play competitive soccer and are placed based upon their passion and ability.
The recreational/developmental branch of Arizona Rush is uniquely named RAZR ("Recreational AZ Rush"), pronounced "Razor".
* "RAZR Trails" is the best 3 - 9 year old beginner to intermediate program in the region. Our hiking/camping theme says loudly to parents and children that the emphasis is fun, positive, encouraging, and non-competitive. In this youngest age group a genuine and consistent fun focus is mandatory. More mature terms such as "academy", "school of excellence", and "coach" are replaced with pure fun terms such as "trails", "camps", "peaks", "summits", etc. Behind all of the deliberate fun, however, is an age specific and internationally proven serious curriculum, but, never allowing the curriculum to compromise the fun. "Camp counselors" will be alumni and current players in Arizona Rush under senior coaching staff supervision. Enrichment options are available by parent choice, or by staff selection. Again, these enriched experiences will be fun themed, although more advanced in curriculum. There are two annual 6 week sessions: First session begins Mid-October, and second session begins Mid-January. Each week consists of a Monday for curriculum and a Wednesday for fun, non-competitive play. Parents looking for the perfect start in the sport of soccer for their 3-9 year old now have the perfect and obvious choice.
* "RAZR Adult" is the Arizona Rush "in house" adult league set to launch by August, 2010. Full information coming soon!
* "RAZR Next" watch for the next program in our new recreational/developmental branch. News coming soon!
